Integrated Pest Management
RIA utilizes
Integrated Pest Management as our approach to pest control for both residential
and commercial property. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective and
environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a
combination of common-sense practices. IPM programs use current, comprehensive
information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the
environment. This information, in combination with available pest control
methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means, and with
the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment.
Residential Pest Control
Monthly, Quarterly, or One-Time Service:
RIA customizes a pest control plan based on your specific house. A quarterly
treatment plan is normally recommended to eliminate current pests and prevent
future pests from entering the home. In some cases, monthly service is
recommended if a home is highly-infested with pests and may require more
chemical to eliminate. Once the pests are under control, a quarterly
treatment is then recommended.
RIA also offers One-Time pest treatments typically utilized when moving into a
home or to target a particular pest or area. We’ll work with you to schedule
a one-time or pest start up after you close, but before you move in. That
way, we’ll be able to get in every part of the house. We can also do one-time
services when you have a major problem with fleas or if you need an entire
yard spray. With the one time pest treatment, RIA will only guarantee pest
elimination for short amount of time because there is no continuous spray
involved. If pests come back within one month of the one-time service, RIA
will come back out for free and spray the areas where pests still exist.
Return Trip Guarantee:
RIA guarantees that once the pest control is done on the property, if pests
come back, so will we. When you call RIA for your pest control treatment, you
can be rest assured that we will take care of your problems. If pests return,
call our office and a technician will service your house within 48 hours.
Types of Chemicals:
RIA uses chemicals that are EPA approved for use in schools. Our chemicals
are very-low odor and any smells should dissipate within two hours of
spraying. Although the chemicals are considered safe, RIA prefers to err on
the side of safety so we recommend all children and pets be kept away from the
areas treated for two hours.
Commercial Pest Control
Free Inspection and Customized Service Plan:
RIA will not sell a commercial pest control service based on a phone
consultation. RIA will send a trained inspector to examine the property for
free. The inspector will take as little of your time as possible, but do a
thorough inspection to make sure that all pests and entry points are noted so
that your pest control plan will be customized for your property.
Monthly, Quarterly, or One-time Service:
RIA customizes your pest control plan based the commercial house or building
being treated. RIA recommends in most circumstances that a monthly treatment
be done. With commercial properties, there are more entry points for pests to
enter, as well as more people in and out of the property. Quarterly spraying
may not take care of the problem. However, some commercial properties such as
offices, may not require as much attention as a food handling property. In
these cases, a quarterly pest service may be sufficient. While continuous
service is recommended, RIA also offers One-Time pest treatments typically
utilized when moving into a property. With the one time pest treatment, RIA
will only guarantee pest elimination for short amount of time because there is
no continuous spray involved. If pests come back within one month of the
one-time service, RIA will come back out for free and spray the areas where
pests still exist.
RIA customizes your commercial pest control to your specific property.
Chemicals that are used in offices or apartments may not be able to be used in
food handling places or daycare centers. Call RIA to get your customized
service plan today!
Flexible Scheduling:
RIA does not work 8-5. RIA works around our customers schedules. If it is not
practical to schedule an appointment between regular business hours, you may
request a Saturday appt or a before/after hours appointment.
